An exhibition of works by Aleksandr Baturin has started at The SOVCOM Art Gallery, Moscow. St. Petersburg artist he apprenticed with Vladimir Sterligov, who in his turn apprenticed with Kazimir Malevich. Paintings by Baturin, clearly depicting precepts of both teachers, are a testament to his strong will and diligence – a rare artist would withstand such authorities.
