Descripton: / Konstantin Alexandrovich Varlamov (1848 - 1915) - artist of the St. Petersburg imperial stage. / Maria Karlovna Anderson graduated from the Vaganova Theater School in 1887. She was enrolled in the troupe of the Mariinsky Theater. At the end of 1893, during a rehearsal, her costume caught fire. Due to the burns she received, the talented ballerina left the stage forever.
