Painter, graphic artist, set designer Studied at the Tiflis Art School (1904–1906) with O. I. Shmerling, N. I. Kandaurov, at the School of K. F. Yuon and I. O. Dudin, N. P. Ulyanov’s Classes, I. I. Mashkov’s studio (1907) in Moscow, MUZHVZ (1907–1911) with A. E. Arkhipov, N. A. Kasatkina, L. O. Pasternak. Lived in Moscow. In 1911 she traveled through Germany. She worked as a portrait painter, genre painter, wrote compositions on historical subjects, and performed monumental paintings. In 1918, together with her husband, artist I. I. Zakharov, she participated in the design of revolutionary festivities and manifestations. She created watercolor portraits of the Bolshevik A. A. Shiryamov, G. K. Ordzhonikidze, M. I. Kalinin, K. E. Voroshilov, A. M. Gorky, actress B. Ya. Zlatogorova and others. Since 1907 - participant in exhibitions (student, MUZHVZ). Founding member of the Moscow Salon association (1910–1917), the 1st State Labor Commune of Artists (1918–1920), member of the Zhar-Tsvet society (1925–1926, 1928). She exhibited her works at the 1st and 2nd exhibitions of paintings of the professional union of artists (both 1918), the exhibition of paintings, sculpture and art industry (1918) in Ryazan, the 1st exhibition of the Moscow repository of works of modern art (1919), the 20th exhibition of the Fine Arts Department of the People's Commissariat for Education (1920–1921), the 1st state traveling exhibition of paintings (1925; Moscow - Saratov - Volgograd - Kazan - Nizhny Novgorod), exhibitions “Russian drawing for 10 years of the October Revolution” (1927), “Soviet drawing” (1929) in Kuibyshev, an exhibition of drawings (1930) in Perm, an exhibition of the association “Art for Socialist Construction” (1932) in Moscow and others. The works are in many museum collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery.
