Born in 1953 in Moscow. Graduated from MGZPI, Faculty of Art and Graphics in 1980. The artist is a representative of the traditional Moscow school of painting. Member of the International Association of Artists at UNESCO. He began exhibition activities in 1978. Participant of All-Union, All-Russian and International exhibitions in Moscow, Deventer (Holland), Barcelona (Spain), Paris (France), Berlin (Germany) and other cities. Agapov’s works were acquired by the Warsaw Museum of Modern Art, a number of galleries and private collectors from many countries around the world. In particular, the works are in the collections of G. Babakhanov, Y. Nikulin, O. Dzhabrailov, V. Butusov, M. Zakharov.
