Painter, graphic artist, monumentalist. A classic of the art of Uzbekistan of the twentieth century. He studied with Bruni, Chernyshev, Grabar at the Moscow Art Institute in 1933 - 1941. In 1947 he participated in the creative group of the architect A. Shchusev for the construction of the building of the Opera House. Navoi in Tashkent. Author of monumental paintings of the buildings of the Ukraina Hotel and the Kyiv-Koltsevaya metro station in Moscow (1950s). The creator of a whole movement in painting and monumental art. The work is being prepared for publication in the master’s catalog raisonné, published in Moscow in 2010.
