Soviet artist. He attended evening drawing classes at the I.E. Repin Institute. He also studied at the art studio at the S.S. Kirov Palace of Culture. He worked as an artist-architect at the SoyuzProektVerf Institute in the industrial aesthetics department. Since the mid-1970s, he participated in exhibitions of Leningrad artists, painting portraits, landscapes, still lifes, and genre scenes. In 2003, he was accepted as a member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. The artist's works are held in private collections in Russia and abroad.
