Alyakrinsky Petr Alexandrovich (1892, Orel - 1961, Moscow).

Painter, graphic artist, poster artist. Honored Artist. In 1909-1910 studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture with S. Ivanov. Participant of exhibitions since 1910. Since 1912, he produced cartoons and theatrical sketches for Moscow magazines. Since 1917 artist in the theaters of Ryazan and Kozlov. 1918-1921 Teacher of art school and Free art workshops in Yaroslavl; head of the Art Department of the local ROSTA. Since 1922 in Moscow - painted for the magazines “Krasnaya Niva” and “30 days”, the newspaper “Bezbozhnik”; illustrated and designed books for Goslitizdat, Detgiz and others; worked in easel graphics. He made propaganda posters (1941-1945); popular posters.
