Studied at Moscow State Art Institute named after. V.I. Surikov (1937-48) from A.E. Kaeva, R.R. Frentz. Since 1940, he took part in regional, zonal, and foreign exhibitions. Lived and worked in Leningrad. He taught at the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School named after. V.I. Mukhina (1952-53). The master's works are in the museum of the USSR Academy of Arts, as well as in many regional museums.
