Andreenkov Vladimir Yemelyanovich (1930, Chausy - 2025, Moscow)

Painter, sculptor, and graphic artist. One of the founders of geometric abstraction. Graduated from the Surikov Institute in 1958. After completing his studies, he worked as an illustrator for various publishing houses. Member of the USSR Union of Artists since 1962. From 1968, he worked on the staff of the Graphic Arts Combine of the Moscow Union of Artists, where he exhibited linocuts and lithographs. In 1987, together with Yu. Zlotnikov, D. Prigov, B. Orlov, and P. Malinovsky, he co-founded the "First Creative Association." Since 1989, he has been an active participant in exhibitions in Russia and abroad. The author's works are in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and other museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
