Painter, graphic artist and teacher, member of the Leningrad Union of Artists. In 1929 he entered the VKHUTEIN in Moscow. In 1930, after the closure of the institute, he was transferred to the Leningrad Institute of Proletarian Fine Arts. Studied with A. Savinov, R. Frenz. He painted portraits, historical, revolutionary and genre compositions, and landscapes. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1932. The works of V. L. Anisovich are in the State Russian Museum, in museums and private collections in Russia, Great Britain, France and other countries.
