Painter and landscape artist. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia (1991). Author of historical paintings and series of portraits of front-line soldiers and contemporaries. From 1949 to 1952, he studied at the Oryol Art School. From the 1950s, he participated in regional and provincial exhibitions. From 1952 to 1970, he taught drafting and drawing in Oryol schools. His works are in the collection of the Oryol Museum of Fine Arts and in other museum and private collections.
