Antokhina-Kuraksa Natalia Alexandrovna

Contemporary painter. Graduated with honors from the Ivanovo Regional Art School (2000). She taught at the educational institution of the same name (2002-2001). Studied at the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, rector - I.S. Glazunov, teachers M.Yu. Shankov, V.A. Stein, A.S. Khasyanova (2001-2007). The thesis “Awakening” received an “excellent” rating. In 2004, for the small painting “Peasant Wedding”, she was awarded a trip to Venice together with I.S. Glazunov. Participant in more than 20 exhibitions as part of Ilya Glazunov’s RAZHVIZ, the “Union of Russian Artists - New Time” at various venues in Moscow, Ivanovo, Bryansk, St. Petersburg and other cities of Russia. She held five personal exhibitions - the exhibition “Together” in the gallery “Daev 33” (Moscow, 2007), the exhibition “My Russia” in the Moscow House of Nationalities (2007), in the gallery on Rublevskoye Shosse (Moscow, 2007), in the Moscow City Hall (2010), in the State Duma of the Russian Federation (2010). In April 2008, she took part in the major annual exhibition of the Russian Art Gallery “The Great Link of Times” (Moscow, Central House of Artists). The artist’s works are in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
