Antonov Sergey Alexandrovich (1937, Moscow).

Born in Moscow in 1937. In 1966 he graduated from VGIK (art department). Since 1979, member of the Moscow Union of Artists, painting section. Participated in Republican and All-Russian, spring and autumn exhibitions, as well as in thematic exhibitions, such as “Moscow School of Painting” and “Exhibition 66”, etc. Personal exhibitions: 1983 - Central House of Writers. 1990 - Exhibition halls of the Moscow Union of Artists on Begovaya. 2000 - House of Friendship with Foreign Countries. 2005 - Central House of Artists on Krymskaya. International exhibitions: 1990 - Belgrade. 1993 - Exhibition at the German Consulate in Moscow. 1994 - Exhibition in Frankfurt am Main. 1999 - exhibition in Hanoi at the invitation of the Ministry of Culture of Vietnam. 2000 - Exhibition at the House of Friendship with Foreign Countries (Moscow). The works are in the Russian Museum of St. Petersburg, in art galleries of Krasnoyarsk, New Jerusalem, Magnitogorsk, in private collections and art galleries in Sydney, Hanoi, Frankfurt am Main, Belgrade, Finland, etc. The artist worked a lot with the icon. He believes that the Russian icon is the pinnacle of Russian and world painting. The artist values color and composition in painting above all. Since 1994 - member of the Writers' Union. He was published in all the “thick” literary magazines, such as “Friendship of Peoples”, “Znamya”, “October”, “Neva”, “Youth”, etc.
