Arapov Anatoly Afanasyevich (1876, St. Petersburg - 1949, Moscow).

Painter, theater and film artist. He studied at the MUZHVZ (1897 – 1906), participated in exhibitions since 1904 (MUZHVZ, “Wreath”, “World of Art”). He began working for the theater in 1905. He performed decorations in the theaters of V.F. Komissarzhevskaya, N.N. Nezlobin and Svobodny. He designed films at film studios in Moscow and Leningrad. The works are in the State Central Theater Museum, the Maly Theater Museum, the Saratov Art Museum, etc.
