Avakimyan Oleg Artsvikovich

Soviet and Russian artist-painter, master of easel painting. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1996), awarded the Order of Honor (2012). Graduated from the Rostov Art College. M.B. Grekov in painting class. Since 1980 he worked at the Grekov Studio of Military Artists. Author of the paintings: “Defenders of the Peaceful Sky (To Intercept)”, “Storm of the Village of Akhulgo”, “Russian Army in the Caucasus”, “Lineiers”, “Gorsky”, “1812”, “Storm of Yekaterinodar”, “Battle of Tsushima”. Author of the dioramas: “Capture of the Tatsinskaya airfield by tankers of General Badanov”, “Liberation of Riga in October 1944”, co-authored: “Konstantinovsky Ravelin”, “Last battles at Cape Chersonesus”, “Landing of the landing in the Northern Bay”.
