Avramenko Ivan Gavrilovich

Schedule. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. A special place in Ivan Avramenko’s works is occupied by his native Krivoy Rog - the city where he grew up and first picked up a brush. The artist’s paintings are a kind of artistic chronicle of Krivoy Rog. They tell viewers about what the city was like when the artist was young, how he lived all these years, how it changed, and what it has become now. According to the author, with his exhibition he summed up what he had done over 50 years and is now going to change his brush to a pen, because 80 years is the time to start writing memoirs.
