Azimzade Azim Aslanovich

He did not receive a systematic art education. In 1910 he toured Russia, as well as Iran and Iraq. In 1906, his drawings first appeared - caricatures in the satirical magazine “Molla Nasreddin” (Tiflis). He performed caricatures, satirical drawings of types of old Azerbaijan, landscapes. He illustrated the works of Azerbaijani writers. He was one of the founders of the art school in Baku. In 1921 he worked at Bakrosta and took part in the production of Windows of ROSTA. He taught at the Azerbaijan Art School (1920 – 1943). During the Great Patriotic War, he participated in the creation of “Agit Windows”.
