Born in 1949 in the city of Prokopyevsk (Russia). Graduated from Kharkov State College of Arts. A few years after graduation, V. Babochiev became a member of the Ukrainian National Society of Artists. Since 1994, he has taken part in all Ukrainian and regional exhibitions. His works can be found in private collections in Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain.
