Bakalovich Stepan Vladislavovich (1857 – 1947).

He studied at the Warsaw Drawing School (1874-1876) with Wojciech Gedeon and A. Kamensky, at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1876-1881). In 1882-1883 - pensioner of the Imperial Academy of Arts abroad (Paris, Algeria, Rome). Lived in Rome. Since 1886 - academician. Participant of exhibitions of the Imperial Academy of Arts, the Society for the Encouragement of Artists, the Society of Art Lovers, the St. Petersburg Society of Artists, foreign.
