He took part in seminars of the Central Experimental Studio of the Union of Artists of the USSR from 1983 to 1988. Participant of All-Union and All-Russian exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1998. Personal exhibitions were held in Russia, Germany, France. Works are in museums, galleries and private collections in Russia and abroad. Painting by Baklanova E.V. distinguished by the amazing freshness of color vision. In the familiar and well-known, he finds a new sound, nuances only visible to him. He is always looking for new color harmonies. His works are varied and interesting.
