Studied at the Ryazan Art. school (1923-24) and the Central Courses of the Academy of Arts in Moscow (1927-30) with I. Mashkov. The artist’s legacy includes a series of landscapes dedicated to Central Asia, numerous works related to the image of V.I. Lenin. Participant of all major All-Russian and All-Union exhibitions of 1940-60.
