Studied at IS (1947-53) with F. Modorov, D. Mochalsky. Participant of exhibitions since 1946. Lives and works in Arkhangelsk and most of his paintings are dedicated to the nature and people of the Russian North and the Arctic. Constantly illustrated and designed books for the Arkhangelsk book publishing house.
