Barto Rostislav Nikolaevich (1902, Moscow – 1973).

Graphic artist and painter. In 1922-1930 studied at VKHUTEIN with N.N. Kupriyanova, I.I. Nivinsky, A.V. Shevchenko. Participant of exhibitions since 1926. Member of the society of artists “Painters' Workshop”. (1926-1928). The works were exhibited at foreign exhibitions (Venice-1932, London -1935, Bulgaria - 1936). The artist's works were exhibited at foreign exhibitions: in Venice (1932), London (1935), Bulgaria (1936). Personal exhibitions were held in Moscow in 1933, 1956, 1978. Barto R.'s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the State Historical Museum, in many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
