Honored Artist of Russia. In 1975–1979 graduated from the Ryazan Art School. In 1985 he graduated with honors from the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov from the workshop of D.K. Mochalsky. In 1991 he was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR. Participant of all-Union and republican exhibitions. The works are stored in the Ryazan Regional Art Museum named after. I.P. Pozhalostina, as well as in private collections.
