Baykov Leonid Petrovich (1919, Tver province - 1994, St. Petersburg).

Painter. Member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists. Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin (1952). Participated in exhibitions since 1939. Author of the paintings “Karelian Landscape” (1952), “Kizhi”, “On Lake Onega”, “October in Zaonezhye” (all 1953), “Tug at the Bunker”, “In Podporozhye” (1954), “In the North”, “The Lake is Blooming” (both 1956), “On the Neva” (1957), “April”, “North Wind” (both 1958), “Spring on the Collective Farm” (1959), “Return of the Herd” (1960), “Noon” (1961), “The Plane Has Arrived” (1963), “Collective Farm Spring” (1964), “Nests” (1973), “Holiday on the Ship” (1975), “New District of Leningrad” (1977), “In noon. In the homeland of A.G. Venetsianov” (1980), etc. Baikov’s works are in museums and private collections in Russia (State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum), France, Japan, Great Britain and other countries.
