Bazhenova Zinaida Vasilievna

Artist of decorative and applied arts, sculptor, porcelain maker, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. The author of 5 allegorical figures (“Latvia”, “Uzbekistan”, “Kazakhstan”, “Azerbaijan”, “Turkmenistan”) at the Friendship of Peoples fountain at VDNKh in Moscow, as well as such sculptures as the Bust of Semyon Dezhnev on Cape Dezhnev, the bust of Slavyanov Nikolai Gavrilovich in the city of Perm. The artist’s works are in many museum and private collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery (STG), the State Museum of Ceramics, the 18th Century Kuskovo Estate, the Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve, the Perm State Art Gallery, and in many private and museum collections.
