Russian Soviet artist. She studied at the St. Petersburg School of the Society for the Encouragement of the Arts. In 1917 she began working in the theater, painting scenery based on sketches by M.V. Dobuzhinsky. Wife of the artist Pavel Kuznetsov. She went through a difficult path from conventional scenery (“Nel Tower”, 1922, Romanesque Theater) to realistic, pictorially voluminous works (“The Bells of Corneville” (1925), “Don Juan” (1926), “Gasparon” (1935) - Theater of Musical Buffoonery (Moscow); “Warm Heart” (1935), “Mary Stuart” (1940) – Moscow Lensoviet Theater; “Hamlet” (1946, 1955) – Belarusian Theater named after Y. Kolas), etc. She was a member of the “Four Arts” association. In 1923, her personal exhibition took place in Moscow. Bebutova's works are in TsGALI, the Perm Art Gallery and other museum and private collections.
