Begichev, Aleksandr Rodionovich (1816 - 1894)

Russian artist, landscape painter. In the 1860s, he was an auditor at the Academy of Arts. In 1863, he received a second-degree silver medal from the Imperial Academy of Arts. From 1860 to 1880, he participated in exhibitions of the Moscow Society of Art Lovers and the Academy of Arts. His works are represented in the Tambov Regional Art Gallery, the Voronezh Regional Art Museum, the National Museum of the Republic of Karelia, and other Russian museum collections, as well as in private collections.
