Watercolorist, graphic artist and architect. In 1905 he entered the architectural department of the Academy of Arts and studied with L.N. Benois and visited the academic engraving workshop of V.V. Mate. In April 1912, upon completion of the general academic course, he received the right to produce buildings. In 1912 - 1915 performed the interiors of the state rooms in the building of the Cabinet of His Imperial Majesty, the Anichkov Palace and the mansion of G.G. Chertkova. Together with the architect A.P. Waitens, artists N.A. Tyrsoy, S.V. Chekhonin and V.M. Konashevich performed the redevelopment and decoration of the rooms on the lower floor of the palace by F.F. Yusupov on the Moika embankment, 94. In 1918, he was appointed head of the workshop at the State Agricultural Museum. In 1920 - 1934 lived in France, where he was closely connected with the literary and artistic environment of Paris, was friends with the Benois family, K.A. Somov, M.V. Dobuzhinsky. In 1934 he moved to Rome, where he lived until the end of his days. Participated in group exhibitions in Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, etc. Archive fund of A.Ya. Beloborodova has been in the State Russian Museum since 1965.
