Belozersky Yuri Vladimirovich

Belozersky Yuri Vladimirovich (1966).

Painter, board member of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions of the XXI Century (St. Petersburg). Born in the Poltava region in Ukraine. From 1982 to 1986 studied at the Donetsk Art School. The determining influence on the artist was the first teacher Vasily Ivanovich Semenyuta. During his formative years, Yuri Vladimirovich acquired the need to pay special attention to the role of color in his pictorial system, to use color reflexes and color perspective, and to work without false strokes. The artist traveled with this teacher to get acquainted with the workshops of famous Kyiv masters, in particular T. Yablonskaya. Another master, Pyotr Levchenko, influenced the artist’s work with his own works. From him, Yu. Belozersky got an interest in the interpretation of sunlight in the landscape. Participant of all 47 exhibitions of the “Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions of the XXI Century (St. Petersburg)”. The works of Yu. Belozersky are in private collections and museums in Russia, Europe and Ukraine.
