People's Artist of the RSFSR (since 1961). Theater artist and graphic artist. He studied at the St. Petersburg Stieglitz School (1900-1907) with V. E. Savinsky. Experienced the influence of the "World of Art". The sets and costumes created by Bobyshev are distinguished by a subtle sense of the style of the era and decorative graphics of the overall design.
