Honored Worker of Culture of Russia since 1980. Graduated from the Gorky Art School (1947-1952). Painter, works in the field of landscape. Travels a lot, writes views of Siberia, Crimea, central Russia, Nizhny Novgorod region, Volga region. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1960. Since 1953, a permanent participant in regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal (“Big Volga”, 1964, 1970, 1974, 1980, 19181, 1998, 2003), republican (Moscow, 1957, 19 60) art exhibitions. Personal exhibition of B.L. Bochkareva was held in Gorky in 1981. He directed the art studio of the Sormovo Palace of Culture (1953-1989). The artist’s works are in the Nizhny Novgorod Museum of Fine Arts, in many regional museums, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
