Bogdanov Leonid Romanovich

One of the leading artists of "Reklamfilm" of the 80s, author of more than 300 posters, member of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. From 1960 to 1964, L. Bogdanov studied art as an elective in painting and graphics at the Moscow Higher Art and Art Pedagogical University (formerly Stroganovskoye) - workshop of I. Komarevsky. In 1969 he graduated from MISS. V.V.Kuibysheva. At the request of film directors, artist L. Bogdanov creates posters for their films. In the early 80s, he began to fulfill orders for the creation of film posters from the Reklamfilm publishing house. He works extensively and fruitfully on orders from the publishing houses Sovexportfilm, Plakat, and Soyuztorgreklama. Leonid Bogdanov carried out the most important orders for the main posters for films of outstanding directors who created glory for Russian cinema, including T. Abuladze, S. Bondarchuk, R. Bykov, N. Gubenko, G. Danelia, M. Zakharov, E. Klimov, P. Lungin, N. Mikhalkov, G. Panfilov, S. Parajanov, A. Proshkin, E. Ryazanov, V. Khotinenko, M. Schweitzer and other domestic and foreign masters. Film posters by L. Bogdanov were exhibited at many collective and personal domestic and foreign art exhibitions (more than 40 exhibitions), were awarded with awards and diplomas, bringing the artist international fame.
