In 1889 he entered the Drawing School of the Society for the Encouragement of Arts in St. Petersburg and was a volunteer student at the Academy of Arts. Participant in exhibitions of the Moscow Association of Artists (since 1904), TPHV (since 1906). At the end of 1908 he travels through France and Germany. Since the 1910s lives permanently in Sergiev Posad. Since 1914, full member of the Society of Artists of Sergiev Posad. Since 1925, member of the AHRR. In 1925-1929 worked as a theater artist, designed performances of the Sergievsky Drama Theater. The artist’s personal exhibitions were held in Sergiev Posad in 1930 and 1987. Works by Boskin M.V. are in the collections of Zagorsk, the Rostov-Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve, in art museums of Irkutsk, Sevastopol, Kuibyshev, as well as in private collections.
