Bozhi Mikhail Mikhailovich (1911 - 1990).

Outstanding Ukrainian painter. Corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts (1958). Member of the USSR Academy of Arts (1962). People's Artist of the USSR (1963). He worked in the easel painting industry. The artist is characterized by a pasty style of painting with active modeling of form using chiaroscuro. Awarded a silver medal at the International Exhibition in Brussels (1958), a silver medal at the USSR Academy of Arts (1960). Received the State Prize of Ukraine named after. T. Shevchenko (1974). He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, the Badge of Honor and medals. Participated in exhibitions: republican (1945), all-Union (1950), foreign (1951). The works are stored in the National Art Museum, Kharkov Art Gallery, Simferopol Art Gallery, Odessa Art Gallery.
