Biography Sergey Bratkov was born in Kharkov in 1960. One of the founders of the artistic group Fast Reaction Group (Fast Reaction Group) together with B. Mikhailov and S. Solonsky. From 1993 to 1997, Bratkov opened the Updown gallery in his Kharkov studio[2]. Since 2000 he has lived and worked in Moscow and Kharkov. In Moscow, his first exhibitions “Kids”, “My Moscow” and “Seven”, shown in the Regina gallery, aroused keen interest of the public and critics. Sergey Bratkov is a participant in the Venice Biennale (2005, 2007), Sao Paulo (2002), and Manifesto (2004). In 2007 he represented Ukraine at the Venice Biennale [1], [2]. In 2008, a retrospective exhibition was held at Winterthur Fotomuseum (Switzerland).
