Soviet artist, graphic artist and illustrator. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He worked in the field of easel and book graphics, engaged in lithography and linocut. Since 1926 - participant of exhibitions. Member and exhibitor of the Association of Graphic Artists (1926–1928), MOSSKh. Participated in exhibitions: aspiring young artists in Moscow (1934), the All-Union Art Exhibition “Industry of Socialism” (1939), exhibitions of Soviet graphics in New York (1940) and Soviet art in Florida (1945). He collaborated with the magazines “World Illustration”, “Komsomolets”, “Prozhektor”, “Krasnaya Niva”, “Smena”, “Pioneer”, “Murzilka”, “Ekran”, “Funny Pictures”. For more than fifty years he illustrated books for the Moscow publishing houses “Young Guard”, “Detgiz”, “Detsky Mir”. Creativity is presented in many museum collections, among them the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin Museum. A. S. Pushkin and other museums.
