Briskin Veniamin Markovich (1906, Romny-1982).

Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Graphic artist. He studied at the Kharkov Art Institute (1921-25). Participant of exhibitions since 1926. In 1970, at the international exhibition “Satire in the Struggle for Peace” in Moscow, he received a gold medal from the Soviet Peace Fund. In easel graphics he performed the series “Vasya Terkin” (1940, ink), “Post-War Europe” (1947, ink), a number of posters, designed books by M. Gorky, M. Twain, Chaplygin.
