Bubnov Alexander Pavlovich (1908, Tiflis - 1964, Moscow).

He studied at the art studio in Atkarsk (early 1920s) with N.Ya. Fedorov, at VKHUTEIN with K.N. Istomina, P.V. Kuznetsova, N.M. Chernyshova. Worked in Moscow. Participant of exhibitions since 1929. His works were exhibited at foreign exhibitions (Philadelphia - 1934, World Exhibition in New York - 1939, Paris - 1961, Warsaw - 1961). Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1948).
