Olga Vasilievna Bulgakova was born in Moscow into a family of artists. Graduated from Moscow secondary art school, Moscow State Art Institute. Surikov. workshop D.K. Mochalsky. There I met Alexander Sitnikov. Since 1972, an active participant in exhibitions, Member of the USSR Union of Artists. Received the Grand Prix of the International Competition of Young Artists and Painters in Sofia (Bulgaria), awarded a silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts, full member of the Russian Academy of Arts. Grand Prix of the V Triennial of Contemporary Art, New Delhi, India. 1st Prize at the VII Biennale of Contemporary Art in Kosice, Czechoslovakia. In 2002 – Awarded the State Prize of Russia for the series of paintings “My 20th Century”. Awarded a silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts, full member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
