Artist-illustrator. Member of the Union of Artists. Graduated from the Moscow Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov. In 1978 he emigrated, receiving Austrian citizenship. In addition to Austria, he lived in Greece, Italy, Germany, France, Great Britain, Israel. In 1987 he returned to the USSR. Over several decades, more than 60 personal exhibitions of Pavel Bunin took place, including in Moscow, Vienna, Paris, Basel, Cambridge. He created more than a thousand drawings for the works of Pushkin, Shakespeare, Lermontov, Dante, Omar Khayyam, Kipling, Goethe. The author's works are presented in museum and private collections in Russia and abroad.
