Бурин Л.Н.

Burin Lev Nikolaevich (born 1943, Bogorodsk, Nizhny Novgorod region).

Studied at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin at Yu.M. Neprintseva (1969-1975). In 1975 he moved to Medvezhyegorsk, where he organized a children's art school. For his teaching activities in 2004, the President of the Russian Federation awarded Burin the state award “Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation.” Since 1975 - member of the Union of Artists of Karelia. Since 1977, he has been actively participating in republican and all-Union exhibitions. The artist's works are in many regional museums and private collections.
