Born in Moscow in 1961. She graduated from the Moscow Printing Institute in 1985, in the same year she was admitted to the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 1982 she has been participating in exhibitions. Winner of the 1992 Golden Brush Award. Bystritskaya's paintings are in museums and galleries in Vladivostok, Vologda, Bryansk, New Jerusalem, and in private collections in Russia, the USA, Germany and other countries.
