Born in Kitaygorod in Ukraine. 1932-1939 - studied at the Rostov Art School. M.B. Grekova; 1939 - passed exams at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repina. Drafted into the Soviet Army; 1941-1945 - participated in the Second World War. Awarded the medals “For the Defense of the Caucasus” and “For the Victory over Germany” 1946-1952 - studied at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin with Professor A.A. Avilova, R.R. Frentz. Graduated with honors; 1952-1955 - taught at the school - taught at the school. M.B. Grekova in Rostov-on-Don; 1946-1980 - annual participation in Rostov city, regional, as well as zonal, republican, All-Union and International exhibitions of Soviet art 1952-1979 - made several creative trips (along the Volga, Don, to the Crimea, virgin lands of Stavropol, to Leninskie Gorki.) The works of E. G. Charsky are in Rostov, Taganrog, Arkhangelsk, Stavropol, Volgograd Museums of Fine Arts, in various local history museums in Russia, as well as in European, Japanese, American and Russian private collections.
