Painter, graphic artist, artist of monumental and decorative art, poster artist, theater artist, teacher. He studied at the Konstantin Art School with N. Feshin (1910-1917), ARKHUMAS (1921-1922), graduated with the title of free artist. In 1918, he fled to Siberia as part of the White Army. He taught at the Omsk Art and Industrial School (until 1921). He returned to Kazan in 1921 - he taught at ARKHUMAS (1921-1926), at the Kazan Theater College (1923-1926), during the same period he worked at KEMST. He was the organizer of the Sunflower Union (1918). In 1921 he headed the graphic collective “Horseman”. He made drawings for the newspaper “Red Tataria” (1924). In 1926 he left for Moscow. He made posters for the publishing houses of the All-Russian Central Council of Trade Unions, "Young Guard", "Mezhrabpomfilm", actively collaborated with the magazines "Prozhektor", "Red Students", worked as an artist in various theaters in Moscow. During the Second World War he created posters for TASS Windows. Member of the "Sunflower" Union (1918), the graphic collective "Horseman" (1921-1923), TatLEF (1923-1926), the "October" association (1930), MOSH (1970).
