Chekmazov Ivan Ivanovich

Landscape painter. Chekmazov was Falk's student and assistant. In the early 1920s, he actively participated in exhibitions: he participated in the First Exhibition of Russian Artists in Berlin at the Van Diemen Gallery, in an exhibition organized by the "Jack of Diamonds" society, in exhibitions of the associations OMH, "Moscow Painters", AHRR, where his works were exhibited simultaneously with the works of famous masters, his teachers and colleagues - A. Osmerkin, A. Lentulov, I. Grabar, A. Kuprin, R. Falk, P. Konchalovsky, I. Mashkov, A. Drevin, N. Udaltsova. Worked and taught in Crimea.
