Chizhonkov Alexander Timofeevich (1930 – 2008).

Born in 1930 in the Tula region, the village of Naryshkino. In 1956 he graduated from the Moscow Art School “In Memory of 1905”. In 1962 he graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov, faculty of easel painting. Member of the Ministry of Agriculture. since 1964 Participant of Moscow, republican, all-Union exhibitions. In 1967, the Tretyakov Gallery purchased the painting “1942. Mercy Train." The works are in many regional museums across the country.
