Čiurlionis Mikalojus Konstantinas (1875, Varena, now Lithuanian SSR, - 1911, Pustelnik Minski, now Poland).

Lithuanian painter and composer, founder of professional Lithuanian music. He studied painting at the drawing school of J. Kausik (1902-05) and the art school (1905) with K. Stabrowski in Warsaw. Participant of exhibitions in Warsaw and St. Petersburg since 1905. He studied music at the Warsaw Music Institute and the Leipzig Conservatory. Member of the World of Art association (since 1911). Representative of symbolism. The artist's works are in the Kaunas Art Museum. Ciurlionis.
