Soviet and Belarusian monumental painter. Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Belarus (1968). He studied at the Minsk Art School (1947-52), then at the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov (1952-58) from M.I. Kurilko, P.D. Pokarzhevsky, V.G. Tsyplakova. Since 1958, he took an active part in regional, republican and international exhibitions. The artist's works were often exhibited abroad (Romania 1959, Denmark and Belgium 1962, East Germany 1966, England 1967, World Exhibition in Montreal 1967). Author of thematic paintings and industrial landscapes. Since 1958 he taught at the Belarusian Theater and Art Institute. The artist’s works are in the State Art Museum of Belarus in Minsk, as well as in many regional museums.
