Schedule. He studied at the Bogolyubov Drawing School in Saratov (1909 – 1916) under P.S. Utkina. Participant of exhibitions since 1917. He was a member of the group "13" (1929 - 1930). Since 1921 he lived in Moscow. Works by D.B. Darana were exhibited at foreign exhibitions (England, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Spain). Exhibitions of his works took place in 1946, 1962 and 1964. in Moscow. He taught at the art studio of the Red Ray club of Mosenergo (1923, 1950 - 1955). The works are in the Pushkin Museum. A.S.
